Yes, to the refrigerator... but no for the freezer. Since the Chilly Pad® material is loaded with water when in use, placing it in the freezer (following use) will cause it to freeze and become brittle. However, placing the towel in a Ziploc bag or polybag and placing it in the refrigerator is no problem... and will help the towel remain damp, in preparation for its next use. (but like all towels, be sure to wash the towel before storing)
